Happy Birthday to Sheila!

Today is Sheila's birthday so, Happy Birthday to Sheila!

She took a couple of days off from work so we started her birthday celebration a couple of days ago.

It has been a wet, damp and muddy weekend so far.  We have some fresh snow on the ridge of the Worcester Range just outside our living room window, which looks really nice, but our yard is a squishy swamp and the driveway is like quicksand which is typical silty Vermont mud.  This month has been brutally bitter with high winds whipping across the flats and rattling our roof all day and all night long.  Between the wind, the rain and the mud, this really is rather typical weather for Sheila's birthday.

Anyway, Sheila opened her birthday gifts the other night.  One of the gifts was a nice app-controlled heated coffee mug.  She seems to be enjoying this gift so far this weekend so this turned out to be a nice gift and especially for someone who works from home.

There is no need to be microwaving cool coffee anymore!  The mug has a nice app and the temperature seems to be controlled very well.  You can even customize the color of the light at the bottom of the mug so you can easily see which mug is your mug in case others have the same mug.  Sheila chose a light blue color for her mug.  The red color in the photo means it is charging.  This newest version of this mug holds its temperature for up to 90 minutes when off the charging plate.  When it is on its charging plate, it can hold its temperature all day long.

Another gift was some new earrings.  These are Blue Topaz which remind me of the color of her eyes.  They look good on her.

Anyway...  Happy Birthday to Sheila!  It has been a really nice weekend so far!

Now I need to figure out what to make for dinner tonight...

UPDATE:  I forgot to come back to this blog entry to update everyone about Sheila's new Ember coffee mug...   what a piece of junk!  Do NOT purchase one of these things.  Support is non-existent and the product didn't last more than a couple of weeks.  Since I purchased this about three weeks before Sheila's birthday, we only had one more week left of the 30 day warrantee by the time she opened the gift.  Honestly, do not purchase anything from this company!
