Lukey's First Tee Ball Game
Although Whitney was finally able to actually hold Ellie in her arms in the PICU this morning and that is great news, today was actually a "Lukey day" for the family. Lukey's first Tee Ball game was this morning and the weather was perfect! Lukey did very well, of course... of course, what else would Papa say on his blog? Pop, shooting some photos from the third base line... Lukey and his dad, Charlie, getting ready to lead-off the bottom of the first inning... Lukey was congratulated by the opposing coach for a powerful hit... ...and, as Lukey then stands on first base, he seems pretty proud of himself... ...running to second base... ...and running toward third base... ...then running for home plate... ...and still running toward home plate while keeping an eye on the action in the infield...
